Shehbaz asks voters to bury PTI's politics of allegations on July 25
He claimed that Faisalabad was a citadel of PML-N and its people would vote for PML-N on July 25.
FAISALABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president Shahbaz Sharif on Friday said that the people will vote for PML-N to bury Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) politics forever, Dunya News reported.
Addressing a public meeting in Faisalabad in connection with PML-N election campaign, Shahbaz Sharif said that PTI chief Imran Khan only knows to blame others.
Shehbaz unleashed a verbal onslaught against his opponents while calling PTI chairman Imran Khan as ‘Bohtan Khan’. Shahbaz Sharif claimed that the caretaker government and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf are two sides of the same coin.
He said that under the leadership of former prime minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, PML-N government overcame energy crisis, constructed motorways and launched China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project. The PML-N government had also credit to make Pakistan an atomic power, he added.
He said that when PML-N came into power in 2013, the country was facing severe load-shedding and menace of terrorism, but the government eliminated terrorists’ network and restored peace in the country.
The PML-N government established hospitals, universities, colleges, and completed mega development projects, he said and added, “We have also initiated power projects and added 11000 megawatt electricity into the national grid.”
He claimed that Faisalabad was a citadel of PML-N and its people would vote and support PML-N on July 25. He pledged the PML-N, after coming into power, would bring Pakistan at par with Turkey and Malaysia in terms with development.
Earlier, addressing a public gathering in Swat on Friday, he said that he is a Pakhtoon first and then a Punjabi, adding that if elected to power, he would transform Khyber Pakhtunkhwa like Punjab and Swat like Lahore.
The PML-N president said that PTI chairman Imran Khan took Rs300 billion loan for the province but ruined the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
“Imran Khan lied about planting 1 billion trees,” said and added the PTI chairman claimed of eradicating corruption but awarded Peshawar Metro Bus project’s contract to a blacklisted company.
Shahbaz further promised that if elected, the PLM-N would provide all resources to Swat, Mingora and Malakand, adding that his party would also build hundreds of new dams to overcome water shortage in the province.
The ex-Punjab CM went on to say that Imran Khan promised to provide electricity to whole country but couldn’t even produce single megawatt of electricity during his tenure, while the PML-N-led government had added 11000megawatt of electricity.
